
Jovan Crnogorčević is an attorney-at-law with more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and international companies on employment, commercial, real estate and construction matters.
Jovan regularly advises employers throughout the employment lifecycle, from recruitment, employment contracts and day-to-day HR support to disciplinary proceedings, redundancies, termination, management arrangements and post-employment restrictions. He assists clients in managing sensitive workplace matters, internal investigations and labour disputes, combining technical legal expertise with a pragmatic approach focused on compliance, risk prevention and commercially efficient solutions. He also represents clients in employment litigation.
His commercial practice includes drafting and negotiating complex business agreements, advising on corporate operations, contractual risk allocation and ongoing relationships with customers, suppliers, consultants and other business partners.
Jovan has substantial experience in construction and major infrastructure projects, supporting clients from tendering and project structuring through contract negotiation and implementation to claims management and dispute resolution. He regularly advises on FIDIC-based contracts, particularly the Yellow and Red Books, joint ventures and consortia, subcontracting arrangements, variations, extensions of time, payment mechanisms, performance security and project-related risks. He has advised international contractors on major railway, urban transport, energy and other infrastructure developments in Serbia.
His experience spans the automotive, construction, infrastructure, energy, real estate, IT and retail sectors. Jovan is fluent in English and conversant in French.
